welcome to the wushu centre and tgl books

'Handing on the tradition of martial arts from China'

I've posted the new website with the new web program. I had to shift the whole thing to a new URL. So go check it out at .net

The original online dictionary is still here if you don't like the new one.

I've done traditional xingyi, bagua, and Chen taiji for quite some time, but am an unrepentant classic wushu fan, so this site is a little mixed. My goal is to supply you with my translations of xingyi and bagua books from China plus the best instructional and performance videos that I find in China on bagua, chen style taiji, and xingyi. To keep the wushu side of my character happy, I have brought the classic Beijing Wushu Team Training Video Series back to life, and have found some great videos of classic wushu. Since my formal education is in physical education, Chinese, and wushu, I also have a lot of educational stuff. Don't worry when I am away for training and seminars, I have my laptop with me. I may not be able to update the website, but we have a good system for sending orders out as quickly as usual, and I am always working on translations.

Free services for you include an online wushu dictionary, downloads of my wushu dictionary and movement name lists, downloads of my wushu coaching manuals, upcoming events in Canada, tons of photographs of athletes and masters in China, links to Chinese martial arts sites and sites on China, and a list of available translated books on Chinese martial arts.
